This is usually the place I talk about my lending experience, achievements and why I'm qualified to build a Private Credit firm, but I don't want this to be my CV - that's what LinkedIn is for.

Instead, I'd like to share why Vía exists. Why start a private lender? Why add another option in the market? Why compete with the big players and not just start a brokerage, as so many people recommended?

Two reasons:

  1. The brokers I spoke with didn't know who to trust. Their clients came with opportunities, but they were wary of the private lenders in the market, and for good reason. This left a clear gap for us. We'll do what we say: you can trust us with your long-term clients and know we'll treat them well. We want them to succeed, so when brokers ask me about our niche, that's our niche: a revolutionary product, competitive rates, built around an ethical and trustworthy business.
  2. I like working on deals. Selfishly, I enjoy talking about loan scenarios all day. The only problem I have is running out of charge on my AirPods and having to swap ears all the time. This is really interesting work. It's like putting together a puzzle. A lot of the time it doesn't work, but when it does, everybody wins, especially the borrower who can now pursue their opportunity.
